Ces organisations de la société civile qui ont porté la réplique au leader de Pastef, dans un communiqué de presse, qualifient ses accusations de «graves, infondées, dis- proportionnées et sont inacceptables». Profitant de l’occasion, le Cosce a rap- pelé à Sonko «que la société civile est à équidistance de toutes les parties prenantes et ne peut être ni instrumentalisée ni discréditée auprès de l’opinion publique».
Ils soulignent, à l’endroit du maire de Ziguinchor, que «l’indépendance de la société civile n’est point négociable. Nous ne ménageons aucun effort et ne souffrons d’aucun complexe pour défendre les principes de la République et de l’Etat de droit».
