Le Groupe Wal Fadjri condamne fermement les propos à la fois haineux et irresponsables du sieur Talla SYLLA appelant à « brûler Wal Fadjri ». Cet appel au meurtre, ponctué par une apologie du terrorisme, est d’autant plus scandaleux qu’il émane d’un responsable du parti présidentiel.
Le Groupe Wal Fadjri informe l’opinion nationale et internationale qu’il a d’ores et déjà pris ses dispositions face à ces menaces. Ainsi, comme le suggère le Syndicat des professionnels de l’information et de la communication du Sénégal (SYNPICS), l’avocat du groupe, Me Ndéné NDIAYE, en l’occurrence, va, dans les plus brefs délais, en rapport avec Me Bamba CISSE, étudier la suite à donner à ce dérapage.
En définitive, le Groupe Wal Fadjri tient à rappeler qu’il capitalise une expérience de plusieurs décennies de luttes qui ont grandement contribué à placer le Sénégal dans le cercle restreint des démocraties en Afrique. Toujours fidèle à sa ligne éditoriale qui en fait la « voix des sans voix », le Groupe Wal Fadjri ne peut être ébranlé par des fulminations, d’où qu’elles viennent.
