La sortie du président tunisien Kaïs Saied qui s’en est pris aux Subsahariens établis illégalement dans son pays indispose beaucoup l’ancienne présidente du Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental (CESE). Pour Aminata TOURÉ, la Tunisie doit être sanctionnée pour les propos racistes de son président. Ainsi, elle préconise sa suspension de l’Union Africaine pour violation de la charte constitutive.
« Au regard du traitement inacceptable des ressortissants subsahariens en Tunisie et des déclarations racistes et haineuses du Président Kaïs Saied, il faut suspendre la participation de la Tunisie des instances de l’Union Africaine pour violation de sa Charte constitutive », déclare-t-elle.
En plus de cette suspension des instances de l’Union Africaine, la Tunisie doit aussi, selon elle, être suspendue à « la participation à la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations de Football ».
