Le Comité interministériel de lutte contre la drogue (Cild) et le ministère de l’Intérieur ont procédé, hier, à une opération d’incinération de plus de 4 tonnes de drogues saisies par les forces de l’ordre. Une occasion saisie par le président du Cild, le Général Matar Diop, pour alerter sur la consommation de la drogue en milieu scolaire.
Alors que le débat sur la consommation des boissons alcoolisées dans les écoles notamment avec le fameux Jakarta vendu dans des dosettes de 100 F Cfa n’a pas fini d’occuper le devant de la scène, on signale que les drogues ont pris place dans le milieu scolaire. Un phénomène très grave qui a poussé, hier, le Général Matar Diop, Coordonnateur du Comité interministériel de lutte contre la drogue (Cild) à sonner l’alerte. C’était à l’occasion d’une opération d’incinération de plus de 4 tonnes de drogues saisies par les services du ministère de l’Intérieur. «On se rend compte que, de plus en plus, la drogue a infiltré le milieu scolaire.», alerte-t-il. L’officier soutient qu’il est impératif de préserver cette tranche d’âge. C’est dans ce cadre d’ailleurs dit-il, qu’il faut élargir la lutte contre la drogue. Car, cela ne doit pas être seulement une affaire des forces de l’ordre, la société civile doit jouer sa partition et même les journalistes à travers des sensibilisations sur les méfaits de cette substance. Pour lui, il faut accentuer les stratégies de sensibilisation. Pour ceux qui sont sous l’emprise de la drogue, faire en sorte qu’ils puissent bénéficier d’une prise en charge médicale. Parce que le Sénégal dispose d’un Centre d’addictologie qui peut combattre de tout ce qui concerne les addictions à la drogue.
Selon lui, les valeurs numéraires des drogues varient. Il y a par exemple le chanvre indien qui coûte 30 mille F Cfa le kilogramme. Il y a même une drogue mixée et qui est vendue actuellement via internet à 800 mille F Cfa. Il y en a aussi ceux qui coûtent 2 millions de F Cfa. Les prix fluctuent selon la catégorie de la drogue.
Le président du Cild rappelle, également, que sous peu, le Sénégal va célébrer la semaine de mobilisation et de lutte contre la drogue. «Dakar est une zone de transit de toutes sortes de drogues qui viennent de l’Amérique Latine Auparavant, les trafiquants transitaient directement vers l’Europe. Maintenant, ils ont découvert une nouvelle voie au niveau de l’Afrique de l’Ouest. Et quand ça tourne vers cette zone, c’est pratiquement toute l’Afrique de l’Ouest qui est concernée», souligne-t-il.
Au Sénégal, le trafic est mené dans les zones frontalières et au niveau des aéroports mais aussi dans les ports. Il y a également le corridor Dakar-Bamako qui pose énormément de problèmes. Parce que c’est dans cette zone que la drogue dite brown circule entre les pays limitrophes.
«Aujourd’hui, nous avons incinéré de la drogue provenant de nos services à Dakar et les autres services des régions vont faire la même chose. Nous avons environ plus de 4 tonnes. Cela concerne le début de l’année jusqu’au mois de juin», ajoute Ibrahima Sakho, Secrétaire général du ministère de l’Intérieur.
