Une bande de malfaiteurs est en train d’écumer les écoles de la commune de Diourbel. Trois établissements scolaires ont reçu leur visite. Le dernier en date est le CFP de Diourbel où 11 machines à coudre ont été emportées dans la nuit du vendredi au samedi passé. Il s’agit d’une machine sur fileuse et 10 piqueuses industrielles des marques Juki, Vu et Gemsy.
Ces machines ont été acquises grâce au projet de Formation professionnelle féminine (Forprofem) financé par la coopération belge. Pour commettre leur forfait, les voleurs ont défoncé les fenêtres de l’atelier des couturiers modélistes. Une situation condamnée par l’inspecteur de l’éducation et de la formation de Diourbel, Yankhoba Massaly, qui a fait le déplacement au CFP pour constater les dégâts causés par les voleurs.
‘’C’est la troisième attitude malfaisante de ce genre, après le cambriolage des CEM Keur Cheikh 2 et de Pikine. Nous sommes attristés parce que l’école n’avait pas besoin de ça. Nous savons dans quelles conditions nous avons repris. C’est un coup très dur porté à la communauté éducative et à toute la société. Le chef des travaux du CFP, Adama Pouye, a regretté cet acte ignoble. ‘’Nous avons saisi la police. Le CFP de Diourbel est le deuxième centre le plus important au Sénégal de par son effectif. Nous allons essayer de voir comment acquérir d’autres machines pour bien organiser la certification prévue ce lundi. C’est de la douleur et de la peine qu’on a ressenties‘’, a-t-elle dit.
