Mais il y avait une autre grande compétition de prévue cet été, les Jeux Olympiques (24 juillet-9 août).
Le Comité International Olympique (CIO) a décidé ce dimanche de reporter les prochains JO, qui devaient se dérouler à Tokyo au Japon. « Après ses entretiens téléphoniques avec le président du CIO Bach, le Premier ministre Shinzō Abe a parlé à la presse en expliquant que les deux ont convenu que les Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo ne seraient pas annulés et qu’ils se tiendraient d’ici l’été 2021 », indique le communiqué du bureau du Premier ministre japonais.
