Les élections territoriales passées, place au bilan pour les différentes coalitions qui ont pris part à cette joute. Si du côté de Benno, on crie victoire, pour la grande coalition Wallu, c’est la désillusion.

Mesdames, Messieurs, camarades, frères, compagnons et sympathisants qui assistez au présent point de presse,
Nous vous avons convié à ce point de presse pour une première communication de notre coalition, la grande coalition Wallu Sénégal, sur l’issue des élections départementales et municipales du 23 janvier 2022.
Nous voudrions commencer par exprimer nos sincères remerciements aux Sénégalaises et aux Sénégalais qui se sont déplacés pour voter ce dimanche 23 janvier 2022 dans le calme et la sérénité. Parmi eux, les électeurs de la grande coalition Wallu Sénégal, à qui nous témoignons notre profonde gratitude.
Comme vous le savez, sans doute, la grande coalition Wallu a été mise en place un peu tardivement, suite à l’impossibilité constatée de réunir l’opposition et la société civile dans un cadre de large coalition de rassemblement de toutes les forces politiques et citoyennes, en lutte contre le régime de APR-BBY, pour le changement et pour de nouvelles perspectives dans la gouvernance de nos collectivités territoriales.
Nous gardons l’espoir qu’un jour cela se réalisera.
Une fois la grande coalition Wallu Sénégal mise en place, nous avons dans l’action connu des lenteurs internes, surtout dans le déploiement des équipes sur le terrain.
Nous avons également connu des départs de leaders d’envergure qui ont pourtant participé et à sa création et à son lancement.
De même, les investitures se sont déroulées avec beaucoup de difficultés compte tenu des enjeux et des ambitions des uns et des autres. De sorte que dans plusieurs localités, des responsables de nos différentes organisations sont allées aux élections sur d’autres listes, tout ceci ayant participé à affaiblir l’unité dans nos rangs et partant les résultats que nous étions en droit d’attendre.
Cette hypothèse s’est par la suite vérifiée sur le terrain.
Dans beaucoup de localités, la somme des différents scores de listes présentées par des membres de la coalition assure une victoire certaine.
Par ailleurs, le PDS moteur de la coalition n’avait pas encore terminé son processus de renouvellements de ses structures qu’il avait entamé. De plus, beaucoup d’investis pour la première fois ont commis des erreurs dans la préparation des dossiers par manque d’expérience et de vigilance. Il s’y est ajouté l’intransigeance de certaines autorités administratives, parfois dans une adversité féroce.
Au total, plus d’une centaine de listes ont été rejetées dans des localités où la présence politique de la coalition est indéniable. À ce propos, 15 dossiers de recours devant les tribunaux ont été transmis à la justice et nous sommes parvenus en définitive à en sauver 10 qui ont été finalement acceptées, mais bien tardivement, alors que la campagne électorale avait déjà démarré.
A l’arrivée, malgré tous les impairs, la grande coalition Wallu a remporté la victoire dans 28 communes.
La grande coalition Wallu a aussi gagné le département de Diourbel ainsi que la Ville de Pikine.
À Pikine justement, BBY défaite cherche à organiser un hold-up électoral pour s’emparer de cette ville. Un recours est introduit par nos avocats et le dossier est pendant devant la justice. Demain, les leaders de la coalition se rendront à Pikine pour apporter leur soutien politique aux frères et camarades en lutte pour préserver leur victoire contre cette tentative de forfaiture qui ne passera pas !
La grande coalition Wallu Sénégal exprime ses chaleureuses félicitations aux électeurs sénégalais de tout bord, en particulier aux électeurs de l’opposition qui ont porté la voix du peuple et des collectivités territoriales.
La grande coalition Wallu Sénégal salue la percée de la coalition Yewwi Askan Wi, félicite et encourage ses leaders comme ses militants et sympathisants.
En attendant, les résultats définitifs des élections départementales et municipales du 23 janvier 2022, les fortes tendances disponibles fondent à penser qu’il est possible dès juillet 2022, au sortir des élections législatives, d’imposer une cohabitation au régime en place pour la première fois dans l’histoire de notre pays.
Cet objectif stratégique est à notre portée et nous sommes persuadés que le peuple sénégalais le soutiendra massivement.
C’est donc pour la grande coalition Wallu une perspective à explorer.
