A Keur Massar-Sud, ce sont les habitants des quartiers Ucad 1 et 2, Tawfekh, Alioune Sylla, Yaakar, arborant des brassards rouges, qui ont tenu à manifester leur colère contre les inondations qui hantent leur sommeil avant de dénoncer l’exclusion de leurs quartiers des 15 milliards destinés au projet de mise en place de canalisations. «Depuis 10 ans, nous vivons ce calvaire avec un éternel recommencement du Plan Orsec qu’on n’a pas du tout senti (…). En 2020, le président de la République était en visite à Keur Massar afin de s’enquérir de la situation due aux eaux de pluie. A cette occasion il a promis d’injecter 15 milliards de francs CFA pour lutter contre les inondations. En plus de cette somme on nous parle aujourd’hui d’un avenant de 2 milliards. Le Plan Orsec devient aujourd’hui plan Echec», ironise le délégué des quartiers Ucad 1 et 2, Emmanuel Kabou . «Aujourd’hui (hier, Ndlr), on fait une conférence de presse pour alerter. Si les autorités ne réagissent pas, nous allons tenir une marche pacifique. Et s’il n’y a pas de solution, nous allons utiliser la formule radicale qui va consister à barrer toutes les voies de sortie dont la route principale», avertit un jeune du nom de Alpha Sané.
