Tout allait très bien pour l’ex procureur de la République qui déroulait jusqu’à ce que les questions arrivent. Et c’est là que Serigne Bassirou GUEYE perd les nerfs face aux tenaces journalistes qu’il a conviés à une conférence de presse ce jeudi 26 janvier 2023.
« Je ne veux pas que ma conférence de presse soit parasitée par des questions du genre…non ». Si l’ancien maître des poursuites ne finit pas sa phrase, c’est que son interlocuteur a touché là où cela fait mal : le certificat médical établi par le Dr GAYE et qui réfute toute conjonction sexuelle d’Adji SARR les 48 heures précédent son examen. «La valeur d’un certificat a la valeur d’un certificat médical… allez demander ça au juge. Moi je ne suis pas là en train de juger le dossier. Le dossier est passé entre mes mains très rapidement… », se défend Serigne Bassirou GUEYE à qui un journaliste demande la valeur d’un certificat médical dans un dossier de viol. Pour lui, il faut demander au juge, à Ousmane SONKO ou à un médecin.
« La conférence de presse, c’est pour apporter des clarifications face aux accusations d’Ousmane SONKO », répète-t-il. Poursuivant, Serigne Bassirou GUEYE estime avoir cédé à la pression de ses proches qui l’ont poussé à faire face à la presse pour répondre.
Selon lui, sur trois points, le leader de PASTEF l’a accusé à tort. « Moi je suis là pour parler d’un PV qu’on dit corrompu, alors que le PV, sur les chapitres évoqués par Ousmane SONKO ne sont pas corrompus », martèle-t-il. S’agissant des photos qu’il aurait ajoutées au dossier l’ancien Procureur balaie d’un revers de main. Selon lui, les photos ajoutées n’intéressent pas Ousmane SONKO. A l’en croire, celles-ci n’ont rapport qu’avec une seule infraction appelée diffusion d’images contraires aux bonnes mœurs, reprochée à Ndèye Khady NDIAYE.
