La lutte contre la vente illégale des produits de pharmacie vétérinaire est en train de donner des résultats satisfaisants. Pour preuve, le commerçant M. L. DIME, qui ravitaillait les éleveurs de Médina, a été arrêté les policiers du 4ème arrondissement avec une équipe du ministère de l’Elevage, et déféré au parquet.
En effet, selon les informations du journal Populaire, depuis quelques temps, des équipes du ministère de l’Elevage et des Productions animales, accompagnées des services de la police, sont en train de patrouiller dans les marchés et autres magasins pour faire des saisies.
La traque n’épargne pas aussi les vendeurs de ces produits, sachant qu’un commerçant a été interpellé le 14 juillet dernier au marché Tilène et déféré au parquet pour vente illégale de produits de pharmacie vétérinaire.
Ce dernier a été intercepté par des médecins du ministère de l’Elevage, dont le Dr DIALLO et A. DIAGNE DE LA Dpj, ainsi que des limiers. Selon ces policiers, ils sont tombés sur le commerçant alors qu’ils poursuivaient leur campagne d’assainissement du marché pharmaceutique à Dakar.
Interrogé par les enquêteurs, le sieur DIME a reconnu tous les faits en déclarant se procurer les médicaments auprès des pharmacies vétérinaires sans ordonnance du médecin.
